/We know you’ve already heard about the food scene in Greenville. Foodies are always concerned with compatible pairings and music is no different. Music goes with everything! So, in Greenville, music seems to go/come along with everything. To find live music in Greenville all one needs to do is follow one’s ears… Oh, right, my ears are a tad bigger than yours so I’ll gladly break it down for ya! This musical collection focuses on local live music happenings rather than conventional concert venues which means the majority of it can be enjoyed absolutely free. Wheeee!

Starting with the home team, our monthly block party: Truck Inn Tuesday, rolls inn this coming week (7/12/16 from 6-9) with crowd favorite Darby Wilcox paired with goodies from Automatic Taco and all the beer, wine, local makers, fun and games that Greenville has come to count on us for. Annual Festivals - Speaking of marking the calendar let’s give a shout to the bigger music festivals that punctuate our year.
Hey Look! Music Festival - Enjoyed its 3rd annual throw down this past April 30th at Trailblazer Park in Traveler’s Rest, SC. 14 bands on the rise rocked the Brewery 85 stage and the Radio Room stages with the new music that people will be listening to next year. The Weeks, Baby Baby, Brave Baby and Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires lead the roster of national, regional, and local talent delivering the fresh goods this time. All ages welcome at these events - kids under 10 get in free. Of course there are local food trucks and vendors. We are looking forward to next year’s fest with great anticipation!

Albino Skunk Music Festival - First weekend in October 6th - 8th, 2016
“The Skunk Farm is a unique music and camping venue in Upstate South Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We host two yearly music festivals… Both are often called “SkunkFest” by our attendees and artists. Originally founded as a bluegrass music festival, SkunkFest now features all sorts of mostly acoustic music – including Americana, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Alt. Country, Acoustic, Roots and Bluegrass.”
Fall For Greenville - Third weekend in October 14th - 16th, 2016
Greenville really pulls out all the stops to throw this massive block party that pours out delicious tastes, sights and sounds to tempt every palate. With over 40 restaurants featuring over 250 menu items and free entertainment featuring over 60 different acts on six different stages your enjoyment is guaranteed. It easy to see why this has become the Southeast’s most popular outdoor festival.

Swamp Rabbit Inn and Local Green are joining forces to throw an awesome festival! This time we're focusing on some of the Upstate’s many great singer/songwriters. Head up the trail and join us to hear some of the Local Green family's amazing songwriters perform their material in an intimate and relaxed setting. Performers include: Mark Dye, Baby Kudzu, The LOZ Band (acoustic), Doug Jones, Angela Easterling, Leslie Smith, Kelly Jo, Rush Morgen, Darby Wilcox, Vilai Harrington, and Lerm/Kyle (Four14).
Cherryfoot Travelling Boutique, The Essential Organics, and TarahBelle Jewelry Designs will be joining us with their wares. AND we’ll have food trucks! All this for $30 in advance. $40 day-of. $20 camping fee.

Every Wednesday 7 - 9 p.m. - Scan Source Reedy River Concerts at the TD Stage Peace Center Amphitheatre. “Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic supper and sit back and enjoy a variety of musical concerts featuring jazz, country, patriotic, rock & roll, blues and reggae. This free, outdoor family event provides the perfect way to spend a warm summer night. Concerts are held from June through August.
Every Thursday 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. - Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive at NOMA Square on N. Main. “An outdoor street party featuring live musical entertainment with varied sounds including rock, blues, funk and cover bands. Main Street serves as the perfect backdrop to this free event series where people can unwind by meeting up with friends, making new acquaintances and networking. A total of approximately 45,000 people attend this event annually and it is the single largest fundraiser for the Metropolitan Arts Council.”

Every Saturday 2 - 4 p.m. - Live Music at Art Crossing at Art Crossing at River Place Downtown Greenville. “Visit the artists at Art Crossing along the Reedy River. There will be live music from 2-4pm for your enjoyment. While strolling around you might just find a unique gift in the artist Shoppes at Art Crossing.”
